Meet the Founders

Ariel M. Barr

Ariel M. Barr is a powerhouse of multidisciplinary leadership, blending strategic thinking, heart-centered service, and cultural awareness into every project she touches. With a rich background in education, operations, and organizational psychology, Ariel has carved out a space at the intersection of public policy, Christian leadership, and executive strategy.

A natural visionary, Ariel has always been drawn to building systems that support people, especially those often left on the margins of traditional entrepreneurship spaces. Her freelance venture, Administration w/ Arie, was more than a service; it was a platform for small business owners, creatives, and faith-based leaders to find clarity, structure, and empowerment. That same ethos is the foundation of The Foundry Collective, a space where ideas don’t just survive, they scale.

Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Public Policy & Administration at Northwestern University, Ariel combines her policy acumen with real-world implementation. She brings a rare blend of empathy, excellence, and executive vision to the Foundry, guiding strategy, program development, and long-term impact planning.

A sought-after collaborator and a compassionate leader, Ariel is committed to making innovation equitable, sustainable, and deeply human.

Xavier D. Pete

Xavier D. Pete is the engine behind The Foundry Collective’s operational brilliance and innovation infrastructure. With a rich history of leadership across both ministry and the marketplace, Xavier brings a decade of expertise in logistics, team development, and strategic systems that put people first.

From serving as an Executive Assistant at a boutique event firm to managing high-performing teams in fast-paced environments, Xavier has consistently demonstrated a rare blend of composure, clarity, and mission-focused execution. His leadership style is marked by emotional intelligence, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to building structures that serve both purpose and people.

Xavier is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, deepening his understanding of how human behavior and business strategy intersect to drive meaningful outcomes. This academic focus enhances his already intuitive approach to systems thinking, team leadership, and organizational development.

At The Foundry, Xavier leads innovation strategy, internal operations, and the development of accessible frameworks for early-stage entrepreneurs. He is a community-minded builder, passionate about mentorship, empowerment, and creating scalable tools that elevate visionary ideas into actionable impact.

With bilingual fluency and a strong faith-driven ethic, Xavier represents the soul of The Foundry’s commitment to inclusive, sustainable progress—bringing both vision and infrastructure to life behind the scenes.

Our Story

Forged from Purpose. Built for Community.

The Foundry Collective was officially established in July 2025, but its story began long before that. It was born out of years of service, strategy, creative labor, and countless conversations about what was missing in the entrepreneurial and creative space.

The vision did not emerge in a boardroom or as a pitch on a slide. It emerged in the quiet spaces, the late nights, and the overlooked corners where brilliance often goes unsupported.

Ariel M. Barr, a skilled administrative consultant and educator, spent years working behind the scenes with small businesses, churches, creatives, and community leaders. Through this work, she noticed a clear pattern: many individuals had the vision, the talent, and the will, but lacked the structure, access, and mentorship to bring their ideas fully to life.

At the same time, Xavier D. Pete was leading with quiet strength in both the marketplace and ministry. With an extensive background in retail management, church leadership, administrative systems, and organizational strategy for businesses, Xavier has spent over a decade building teams and leading with integrity. He quickly noticed a pattern: people with purpose were often working in isolation; overwhelmed, under-resourced, and without the strategic support they needed to thrive.

When Ariel and Xavier met, they quickly discovered they shared more than a passion for service. They shared a calling. Their unique experiences complemented each other. Ariel brought visionary thinking, organizational clarity, and a deep commitment to equity. Xavier brought operational strategy, calm leadership, and a talent for turning vision into movement.

What began as collaboration became a blueprint. That blueprint became action. In July 2025, it became The Foundry Collective.

Why The Name?

What We Stand For?

What We Stand For?

A foundry is a place where raw material is refined under intense heat, shaped into something strong, valuable, and built to last. That metaphor captured exactly what Ariel and Xavier saw in the communities they served. Founders, artists, and creatives do not need more pressure—they need a place where pressure becomes purpose.

The Foundry Collective was created to be that space. A supportive environment where vision is met with infrastructure. Where creativity is nurtured with strategy. Where people are not just building alone, but forging together.

What We Stand For?

What We Stand For?

What We Stand For?

The Foundry Collective is more than a business incubator or a co-working hub. It is a living ecosystem. A launchpad for visionaries. A home for builders and dreamers who are ready to lead with intention, build with purpose, and grow with support.

Our work centers equity, community, creativity, and care. We believe innovation should be inclusive. That structure should not stifle creativity, but sustain it. And that no one should have to build alone.

Forged with purpose. Built by people. Ready for what’s next.
